The highlight of the event was the Saturday evening vigil on the Tor Vergata plain, where pilgrims spent the night under the open sky, and there on Sunday, Pope Leo XIII celebrated the concluding Holy Mass for a million young people from all over the world, together with 450 bishops and 7,000 priests.
